Obituary of Scott Douglas Meades

Scott Douglas Meades passed away at home in Mount Brydges on Tuesday, December 06, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family. Scott is survived by his wife and best friend Kendra (Dunning). He will be deeply missed by his parents Doug & Barb Meades, sister Kate, brother Peter (Heidi), mother in law Laura Dunning, brother in law Jason (Kerri), and predeceased by father in law Bruce Dunning. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Scott was born and raised in London and moved to Toronto for school. He worked in the technology sector at Manulife Financial global headquarters in Toronto for 25 years. Scott lived his life as a free thinker in pursuit of his passion for writing, fitness, music, yoga and the love and company of family and friends. Scott’s ability to follow his various interests made for an interesting life. A corporate job during the day and working at a tattoo parlour by night gave him the variety he needed, then teaming up with Pete for
Meades Bro’s Productions concerts and later attaining his certification as a yoga instructor. His love for writing was expressed through his journals, articles and short stories.

In honour of Scott’s wishes cremation has taken place with a memorial celebration of life to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to support youth services in the community (Youth Opportunities Unlimited), the Humane Society London; Middlesex, or a simple random act of kindness in Scott’s memory.
