Obituary of Solveig Grethe Andersen

It is with great sadness that the family of Solveig Grethe Andersen, announce her passing on December 20 th , 2022. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Christina (Andersen) Nelson, grandchildren, Jake and Alex Nelson, son-in-law Dennis Nelson and extended family in Norway. Solveig was an avid reader, a lover of nature, the arts, movies, music, fashion, interior design and travel. She loved spending time with her family and friends and found pleasure in both the simple and finer things in life. One of her favorite things to do was take long walks by the Thames River and the parks and streets of London. Solveig suffered from Alzheimer’s during the last few years of her life and, was diagnosed with cancer only a few short weeks before she passed. She is at peace and will be brought back to her native home Oslo, Norway. She received amazing care at Parkwood Palliative in London.
