Robert (Bob) Charles Chatfield
January 20, 1928 – January 12, 2023

Bob passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family, one week
before his 95th birthday.

Adored husband of Joanne Chatfield for over 70 years. Cherished father of Brian (Karen) Chatfield and
Judy (Bruce) Duncan. Caring Grandpa to Shelby (Jason) Mueller, Richard (Amie) Chatfield, Kayla and
Krista Duncan. Special Great-Grandpa to Hadley, Adelyn, Eleanor and Lennon. Predeceased by daughter
Susan (1957). His memory will be treasured by his sister Shirley Ross along with many nieces, nephews,
and cousins.

Bob was born in London, Ontario, the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Chatfield and was the Head of
Automotive at H.B. Beal Secondary School for over 30 years where he worked until his retirement. His
induction to the Teachers' Wall of Fame was a testament to the impact he had on the lives of his
students. He was always full of ideas - starting two businesses - The Good Ship Lollipop and Uncle Bob
Travellers. Joanne and Bob enjoyed many trips in their RV across North America. They hosted caravans
through Mexico, New Zealand and Europe. Bob was fondly referred to throughout the camping
community as "Uncle Bob". They also enjoyed many years at their Winter home in Bonita Springs,
Florida and loved a good game of cards or dominos with friends and family.

Bob will be remembered for his friendly nature, positivity and love for people. He was a fun-loving
jokester that you could always count on for a smile or laugh. He will be greatly missed.

Donations in memory of Bob can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may
