Obituary of Beverly Patricia Leeson

May 29, 1940 – March 26, 2023

Peacefully in her 83^rd year at University Hospital, London, on Sunday March 26, 2023. Devoted wife for 60 years of the late Robert Leeson (2020). Sadly missed by her loving children Randolph (Cathy) of Point Edward, and Lori Rivard (Ken) of Belmont. Cherished grandmother of Tyler and Ryan (Susie) Rivard, and Mathew and Sarah Leeson. She loved being GG to her great grandchildren Liylah, Kiannah, Avery and Elijah Rivard and Avery Leeson.  Dear sister-in-law to Sandra Harrington. Remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by beloved grandson Erik Rivard (2013), sister Brenda Allen, and brother Ernest Harrington. Also predeceased by brother-in-law Ed Allen, sister-in-law Marion Kamp (Dirk), brothers-in-law Dennis (Ann), and Jack (Jennifer). Born to Ernest and Mary Harrington on May 29, 1940 in Guelph Ontario.

Beverly will be warmly remembered for her smile and laughter but mostly her love of family. She loved sharing the Bible’s hope for the future with others as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, encouraging many throughout the years. The family is grateful for the excellent care Beverly received at Country Terrace nursing home and the outstanding medical teams that treated her at University Hospital, including the acute stroke unit. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the London Health Sciences Foundation. Cremation has taken place.  

All are welcome to join the family at a memorial service for Beverly Leeson at the Kingdom Hall, 86 Base Line Rd. West in London on Saturday, April 8 at 3 p.m.
