Milda (Olins) Pirs, better known as Millie to her Canadian friends, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 4, 2016. Born in Saldus, Latvia, Mildina loved and lived for Latvia, it's culture and her heritage. She loved socializing with her friends, reading, gardening and watching old movies on TCM. Mom was the best cook ever!
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held this Sunday February 21 2016 from 3:00 - 6:00 at 883 Guildwood Blvd, London Ontario N6H 5T1. Instead of flowers, which Mom loved, she respectfully requested a small donation to either the Latvian Relief Society or London Humane Society.
