Obituary of Steven Clayton Surjanac
Steven died peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of L.H.S.C.- Victoria Campus, on September 24, 2023. Steven is survived by his best friend Jennifer Cunningham, and by the Cunningham family, by his mother Sheila and step-father Jim Burton, by his brothers Dan (kim) and Brad (Julie), his sisters Kamenka (Rob), Michelle (Larry) and his loving twin sister Darlene. He is also survived by his aunt Linda (Pete) and by many other aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Steven battled his cancer bravely until his final breath. Thank you to Dr. Breadner and his team for their caring concern during the previous two years. Thank you as well to his Nurse Practitioner, Terry his social worker, Basem and finally to Dr. Barry and the nursing staff in the Palliative Care Unit for their caring support of Steven and his family.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of memories will be held at a later date in Kirkfield, Ont. Condolences may be left at www.funeraloptions.ca “So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” Corinthians 13:13
