Q: What will you never forget about Shawn?

A: I’ve always been in awe of Shawn’s natural artistic talent. It was truly remarkable how he could not only draw but also capture the very essence of whatever he was focused on. I spent countless years trying to emulate his unique artistic vision, but I never quite reached his level. As a roommate and close friend, he generously shared new techniques with me every day, and I’m so grateful for that. One of his pieces still hangs in my office, and while it serves as a beautiful reminder of his talent, it’s also a bittersweet reflection of his unique perspective on the world.
