Obituary of Margaret Jean Shewan

SHEWAN, Margaret Jean (Nee Taylor) – After a long and brave battle with cancer, Margaret passed away at Victoria Hospital in London on June 14th 2017 in her 74th year, surrounded by family.  Survived by her loving children David Shewan (Tami) of Strathroy Ontario, Kelly Shewan of St. Jacobs Ontario, and Michael Shewan (Nicole) of Aylmer, Ontario.  Grandchildren Scott (Sarah,) Corey and her brave boy Jared.  Great Grandchildren Sydney and Riley. Survived by her sisters Linda (Haydn), and Marilyn (Len) and Brother Ron, and several nieces and nephews, especially Lynda, Tracey and Tammy Lister.  A special thank you to Dr. Tancio and nurses Jen and Nikki of the Palliative Care unit at LHSC Victoria Hospital.   Cremation has taken place. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service. A private family internment will take place at a future date. For those wishing to pay their Last Respects a Celebration of Life will be held at the Victory Branch Legion at 311 Oakland Ave in London on Saturday June 24 from 1-4 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Humane Society. Messages of condolence may be shared at www.affordablefuneraloptions.ca.
