Shirley was my mother. She had a great heat and laugh. I was so very proud of the person she had become. She wanted to help everyone and forgot to help herself. I miss our girl talks and our sun tanning when she made fun of me as I don’t tan. I miss her hugs and I miss her jokes. I love you mom.

Rest in peace, dear Sister “Shirley” your death leaves heartache for the family that no one can heal, but the love you had shared is a memory no one can steal. Shirley was a wife to William (2nd marriage) and Steve (1st marriage), mother to Steven, David, Christopher and Sabrina, a step-mother to Kenneth, and a grandmother, a sister to Sylvia and Carol, an aunt too, this is the legacy we have from you. For the world may keep turning and changing from day to day, but precious memories of you will never fade away. The memories you’ve made in us will last forever. The tenderness you’ve shared with us will never fade. The most wonderful gift you could ever give us is the special part of you that now lives in each of us.
